In The Community

At the heart of Leib's culture is a commitment to service.  Through grants, sponsorships and most importantly, the volunteerism of Leib's people, the Leib Giving Program extends that commitment to include service to the people and community everywhere.

How do we make an impact?  We provide Financial Support...We mandate that Leib employees have 10 hours of Community Involvement per year...We form Fundraising Teams to raise money for local charities and non-profits.

United Way of Camden County,
UWCCNJ Homepage

For thousands of Camden County residents, the basic ingredients for a good life are increasingly beyond reach. New Jersey is the second wealthiest state in America, but Camden City—our county seat—has been dubbed both the poorest and most dangerous city in the nation. One in 5 of our county’s children are living in poverty. Twenty percent of our high school students did not graduate in 2007. Ten percent of residents do not have health insurance, and many more are not receiving the basic services they need to maintain good health.

At United Way—we simply will not accept these conditions. Not in our backyard. We believe the building blocks for a good life are: education, income and health. Everyone needs a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family and good health. Our goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of problems.

It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future. So we bring together people from all across the community–government, business, faith groups, nonprofits, the labor movement, ordinary citizens–to tackle the issues. Because we all win when a child succeeds in school, when a family becomes financially stable, and when people have good health.

ARMing Heroes, ARMIng Heroes Homepage

Since September 11, 2001, more than 1.5 million Americans have put on a uniform and served their country. Millions more went before them. In contemporary times, veterans serve in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. Previous generations have served around the World, too—from faraway places like Europe and Asia to battlefields closer to home in places like Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Bunker Hill, Massachusetts, and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

ARMing Heroes is here to make sure veterans get the help they have earned through programs oriented to the unique ways in which the accounts receivable management industry can help. So if you are a veteran, click here to get help now. If not, we need you. Read on to learn more.
