Carl Torban, President

Carl Torban is President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all operations and administration, and has thirty years of finance and collection management experience, including ten with Leib. Before the commercial receivables solutions and collections business, he was with One Beacon Insurance, where he coordinated the accounts receivable operations for 26 business units and managed a team of account representatives dealing with receivables of all forms including retro-rated policies and premium audits.  Earlier, he was with The Lincoln Insurance Group where he was responsible for collections, third-party deductibles, subrogation, agency, and direct premiums. His management experience with Leib Solutions covers all types of commercial receivables in all industries.

Kelly Clark, General Manager – Operations

Kelly’s responsibilities encompass collection processes, client relations, and office administration, and she has been with the company for seven years. Before joining Leib Solutions, she managed banking-debt collection operations for a large first-party agency, managing a staff of 25, including client relations, reporting, and training. She also has a decade of working on the client side, managing order-to-cash for a regional food ingredients distributor.

Robert Leib, Founder

Bob Leib founded Leib Solutions after a management career with Dun & Bradstreet’s collection company and built Leib to a national standing as a leader in the collection industry. Winner of numerous awards for business excellence in the commercial collection industry, he works with the company in the special capacity of Founder and special advisor for complex collection matters.

Joseph D’Apolito, Chief Financial Officer

Joe is responsible for finance, corporate planning, and shared service functions for the Smyyth family of companies. He has twenty years of executive experience in finance, accounting, and administration with top health insurance companies, and the construction industry. Earlier in his career, he was CFO of Empire Roofing, and CFO and V.P. Underwriting for PHHC, acquired by Emblem where he served as Director of the Health Care Reform initiative. At Anthem Health Insurance, he was CFO of a $5 billion unit, responsible for finance and integrating financial activities across multiple locations. Joe is a graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Finance and Accounting.

Frank Boni – Vice President – Managed Services

Frank is Vice President – Managed Services and Technology Operations, responsible for Smyyth’s Carixa™ End-to-End Revenue Cycle SaaS software operations. Frank has 20 years of experience in commercial receivables management, credit, and collections, including as Director of Operations and Sales Support for NCO Financial Systems, Inc., and earlier with Dun & Bradstreet RMS, and Payco GAC Corp. Frank has a B.S. in Business Administration from Hofstra University.

Karen McCann – Vice President, Order-to-Cash

Karen has 20 years of experience in operations, data management, administration, and customer service, including serving as Director, Client Services with Creditek, an accounts receivable outsourcing company, and as a manager of customer services with Bell Atlantic. Karen also serves as V. P. Operations for the parent, Smyyth LLC, a cloud order-to-cash software and outsourcing company.
