Carl Torban, President
Carl Torban leads Leib Solutions' national commercial collections and accounts receivable management operations. With more than 30 years of experience in receivables, collections, insurance recovery, and operational leadership, Carl has built a reputation for delivering measurable results across diverse industries.
His expertise spans commercial debt recovery, insurance collections, subrogation, premium recovery, and enterprise accounts receivable management. Throughout his career, he has led teams responsible for complex receivable portfolios, helping organizations improve cash flow, reduce write-offs, and strengthen collection performance.
Under Carl's leadership, Leib Solutions has continued to expand its capabilities in first-party collections, third-party commercial collections, insurance recovery, and technology-enabled receivables management solutions. He remains focused on helping clients recover more revenue while preserving important customer relationships.
Kelly Clark, General Manager - Operations
Kelly's responsibilities encompass managing the collection staff and processes, client relations, and administration, and she has been with the company for eight years. Before joining Leib Solutions, she managed banking-debt collection operations for a banking industry first-party collection agency, managing a staff of 25, including client relations, reporting, and training. She also has a decade of working on the client side, managing order-to-cash for a regional food distributor.
Robert Leib, Founder & Strategic Advisor
Robert Leib founded Leib Solutions after a successful career with Dun & Bradstreet's collection organization and has spent more than four decades helping shape the commercial collections industry.
Under his leadership, Leib Solutions grew into a nationally recognized commercial collection agency serving businesses, insurers, law firms, and institutions throughout North America. Bob has received numerous industry honors for entrepreneurship, innovation, and operational excellence, and continues to advise the organization on complex recovery matters and strategic initiatives.
Joseph D'Apolito, E.V.P and Chief Financial Officer
Joseph D'Apolito serves as Chief Financial Officer of Leib Solutions and the Smyyth family of companies, overseeing finance, corporate strategy, administration, and shared services.
With more than two decades of executive leadership experience, Joe has guided financial operations for organizations ranging from middle-market businesses to multi-billion-dollar enterprises. His background spans healthcare, insurance, construction, and business services, providing a unique perspective on cash flow management, operational efficiency, and financial performance improvement.
Prior to joining Smyyth and Leib Solutions, Joe held senior financial leadership roles with major healthcare and insurance organizations, including responsibility for financial operations within a $5 billion business unit. His experience includes mergers and integrations, strategic planning, regulatory initiatives, forecasting, budgeting, and enterprise performance management.
At Leib Solutions, Joe helps drive initiatives focused on accounts receivable optimization, commercial collections performance, revenue recovery, and technology-enabled financial operations. His leadership supports the company's mission of helping clients improve working capital, reduce aging receivables, and strengthen cash flow.
Frank Boni – Senior Advisor, Commercial Collections & Revenue Recovery
Frank Boni serves as Senior Advisor to Leib Solutions and Vice President of Managed Services for Smyyth, bringing more than 25 years of experience in commercial collections, accounts receivable management, credit operations, and recovery services.
Throughout his career, Frank has helped organizations improve collection performance, reduce delinquency, and accelerate cash conversion through a combination of operational discipline, process improvement, and technology-enabled workflows. His experience includes leadership positions with some of the nation's largest receivables management organizations, where he directed collection operations, client service initiatives, and large-scale recovery programs.
Frank works closely with Leib Solutions leadership to develop strategies that maximize recovery rates while preserving customer relationships. His expertise spans first-party collections, third-party commercial collections, insurance receivables, and enterprise credit-to-cash operations.
As part of the broader Smyyth organization, Frank also advises clients on integrating automation, workflow management, and performance analytics into modern accounts receivable programs.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hofstra University.
Karen McCann – Senior Advisor, Operations & Client Success
Karen McCann serves as Senior Advisor to Leib Solutions and Vice President of Operations for Smyyth, where she leads operational strategy, client service excellence, and performance management initiatives.
Karen brings more than 25 years of experience in accounts receivable operations, collections management, customer service, data administration, and business process improvement. Her career has focused on helping organizations strengthen collection performance, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences across the order-to-cash cycle.
At Leib Solutions, Karen advises on collection operations, workflow optimization, quality management, and client delivery standards. Her expertise helps ensure that collection programs are executed with consistency, compliance, and professionalism while supporting clients' broader cash flow objectives.
